After making his La Liga debut last weekend, the Mexican goalkeeper is set to get a run of games with Malaga.
This wasn't quite the way Guillermo Ochoa would've expected things to go at Malaga.
Following an outstanding performance for Mexico at the 2014 World Cup, the goalkeeper had a host of suitors and eventually chose to move to the La Liga team from French side Ajaccio.
It's doubtful Ochoa envisioned waiting until March 2016 to make his La Liga debut but unfortunately for the keeper, that's exactly what happened. Following an injury to normal starter Carlos Kameni, the Mexico international came on as a sub last weekend in a 3-3 draw with Deportivo La Coruna.
