Swedish Elitettan side Assi IF has captured Nigeria midfielder Christy Ucheibe from Nasarawa Amazons on a one-year contract.
The 18-year-old impressed at the 2018 Fifa U20 Women's World Cup in France, even though Nigeria failed to go past the quarter-final stage.
She is also in fine form for her Lafia-based outfit as they finished as the second best team in the 2018 Nigeria Women's Premier League season.
Having passed her medical and unveiled on Tuesday, Ucheibe was handed the team's jersey number 17 for their campaign in the Second Division this season.
