Two footballers with Malaysian heritage took to the pitch for their respective overseas clubs this weekend, to varying outcomes.
In Thailand, Malaysian-Australian midfielder Curran Singh Ferns made his second appearance for Sukhothai FC, this time in Thai League T1, against Chonburi FC at home the Thalay Luang Stadium.
Although he started the game, the 24-year old could not help his side win at home on Saturday, when they lost 2-1 to Chonburi.

The defeat is Sukothai's third straight defeat in all competitions, and they are currently just two spots above the relegation zone, separated by just one point.
