Khanye calls for reappointment of Mosimane as Bafana Bafana coach with Safa reportedly set to fire Ntseki

Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Junior Khanye has urged the South African Football Association to bring back Pitso Mosimane as Bafana Bafana head coach.

This comes after Bafana failed to qualify for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations finals following a shock 2-0 defeat to Sudan in their last qualifying match over the weekend.

Safa will reportedly announce the firing of South Africa head coach Molefi Ntseki at a press conference at Safa House on Wednesday after the 51-year-old tactician failed to guide the team to the most prestigious football tournament in Africa.

Ntseki, who has been in charge of the national team since August 2019, is said to have met Safa’s leadership on Tuesday and the association has since decided to dismiss the former South Africa under-17 coach, according to Sowetan.
