Kaizer Chiefs appoint Hunt as new head coach - Reports

Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly set to announce that the club has hired Gavin Hunt as the new head coach.

The experienced tactician has been a free agent following a seven-year spell with Bidvest Wits.

Wits sold their Premier Soccer League (PSL) status to National First Division (NFD) side Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila F.C, who decided not to retain Hunt's services.

Hunt is said to have found a new home at Chiefs with the Soweto giants having fired German coach Ernst Middendorp last week.

Chiefs were also interested in Algerian tactician Adel Amrouche as Goal previously reported.
