The attacker has found himself marginalised somewhat since returning to Dortmund, but Figo expects big things from the 24-year-old
Portugal icon Luis Figo has named Borussia Dortmund's Mario Gotze the best German footballer.
Gotze's career has taken something of a nosedive since his decision to leave Dortmund for Bayern Munich back in 2013, with his recent return to Signal Iduna Park seen as unwelcome by pockets of the BVB faithful.
Fans haven't been the 24-year-old's only issue, however, as he continues to struggle for form and game time under Thomas Tuchel.
Figo, however, speaking in an interview with Bild, singled out the ostracised attacking midfielder as the best his country has to offer.
