Giggs continues Wales managers' terrible away record

Ryan Giggs has become the fifth Wales manager in 19 years to lose their first competitive away game, as Denmark recorded a 2-0 win in the Nations League.

A pair of Christian Eriksen finishes were enough for the Danes, who saw a full-strength squad take the field after resolving a pay dispute that saw a team of futsal and lower-league players fall to Slovakia in a friendly on Wednesday.

More importantly, it was his first competitive away game, with the defeat equaling the poor start suffered by each of the last four Wales managers, who all failed to pick up a positive result from their first away trip.
