The veteran defender becomes the third Major League Soccer free agent to sign with a new team.
The Columbus Crew have taken their first dip into the waters of MLS free agency, signing defender Corey Ashe, the team announced Friday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The nine-year veteran had spent his entire career in Houston until he was sent to Orlando in a midseason trade this previous season. A two-time All-Star, Ashe has suited up for 220 regular-season contests, though he only got into nine games last year, all with Orlando City.
