Kyle Walker says Phil Foden is the "best youngster I've ever seen", and that the Manchester City starlet is "leaps ahead" of where Tottenham trio Harry Kane, Andros Townsend and Harry Winks were at the same age.
Foden rose through the youth ranks at Etihad Stadium before graduating to the senior squad in 2017, but has been made to wait for his chance to shine in the first team.
The 20-year-old spent his first two seasons under Pep Guardiola on the fringes of the action, with the likes of David Silva, Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne all ahead of him in the midfield pecking order.
