The Spaniard, who left Watford in May despite keeping them in the Premier League this season, is back in management after signing a three-year contract with the Catalan club
Espanyol has appointed Quique Sanchez Flores as its new head coach on a three-year contract.
The Catalan club have landed the former Watford boss on a deal until the end of the 2018-19 season and he will be presented to the media on Monday.
Flores, 51, was not kept on at Watford despite guiding the club to a creditable 13th-placed Premier League finish in his only season at the helm after it had been promoted from the Championship.
