Deschamps admits that France made errors in Germany blank

The world champion's work rate in their Nations League stalemate in Munich pleased the Le Bleu's boss but he also acknowledged his team made mistakes

World Cup winners France were some way short of their best in the 0-0 Nations League draw against Germany, head coach Didier Deschamps conceded.

After winning the famous trophy in Russia, the 49-year-old boss has had the unenviable task of re-motivating his players ahead of a spate of upcoming friendlies.

In their first outing since their exploits in the summer, Les Bleus shaded what sparse goalmouth action occurred in a drab first hour but were indebted to a string of fine saves from debutant goalkeeper Alphonse Areola during the closing stages.
