Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has matched Alexis Sanchez’s Arsenal mark following his goal in the club’s 2-0 away defeat of Newcastle United on Sunday evening.
With his effort against the Magpies, the African striker has now scored in all three of his matches against Steve Bruce’s men in the 2020-21 season.
He is the first Arsenal player to score in three separate matches against an opponent in a single season since Sanchez versus Hull City in the 2014-15 campaign.
