As India get ready for round two of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in September, they need not look too far for inspiration.
Drawn alongside India in Group E of the qualifying round are Qatar who are already guaranteed a place in the tournament by virtue of being its host.
While they might have been provided with an automatic qualification, Qatar’s place in the 2022 tournament on home soil will very much be on merit.
