Leicester City have failed in their attempt to sign Stoke City forward Mame Biram Diouf with less than four days for the transfer window closes, according to the Sun.
The Foxes have been a long-time admirer of the Senegal international but fell short of the Potters' £15 million valuation.
Diouf who was an unused substitute in his side's 3-1 loss to Leeds United on Saturday, has two years left on his contract at the bet365 Stadium.
