Mohamed Elneny will be ready for World Cup – Arsene Wenger

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes Mohamed Elneny will be available for Egypt at the World Cup.

The midfielder suffered an ankle ligament damage in Arsenal’s 4-1 victory over West Ham United in Saturday’s English Premier League game.

It has been confirmed that he will be unavailable for the rest of the season, thus, missing out of the Gunners remaining league games against Manchester United, Burnley, Leicester City and Huddersfield Town. The former Basel player will also be out of the Emirates Stadium outfit’s remaining Europa League matches.

Hector Cuper’s men will square off agaunst Uruguay, host country Russia and Saudi Arabia in Group A of the global tournament and the French tactician is optimistic of the midfielder's participation at the showpiece.
