Earlier this year, the Indianapolis Colts had a stunning setback as they worked to rebuild the struggling defense. Two of the best players on the defense, Zaire Franklin and Jaylon Carlies, were injured. Carlies had undergone surgery on his shoulder, while Franklin hurt his ankle and would need surgery also. And right from the beginning, it was clear he would miss offseason practices through training camp.
Yet now, more bad news has been delivered; while Franklin has been making good progress, and is able to run and work out, he will miss the first day of training camp tomorrow.
