The erstwhile 3-4 outside linebacker widened his eyes in an exaggerated expression of shock and turned to defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins — seated next to him on the stage at the Scottish Rite Cathedral during the team's second Town Hall Meeting for season ticket members Tuesday — for additional effect.
"We might be out of a job," Simon deadpanned.
If the second-year defender's ability to adapt on the field can match his comedic timing off it, he's got little to worry about.
