INDIANAPOLIS - Julian Blackmon jogged onto the Colts practice field for another day of organized training activities and put on something he hadn't in a while: a helmet.
That white helmet with the horseshoe on it allowed him to blend in for a moment. It'd been a while since he'd felt the synergy of being a part of the pack.
The last time came on a practice field like this one last October.
"It was the last period of practice, the last play," the third-year safety said. "It was routine, jumping up for a pick.
"It felt like my calf kind of just folded.
