Thumbs up, thumbs down: Big-play Colts defense bounces back against Carolina

INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts finally broke out of their funk, snapping a four-game losing streak by obliterating the helpless Carolina Panthers 38-6 in the final home game of the season.

And while a record day by Nyheim Hines, Marlon Mack breaking the 1,000-yard barrier and the ongoing decision Indianapolis faces with Jacoby Brissett will dominate the day, there was a lot more good, and not a whole lot of bad, to take away from Sunday’s win.
