The Colts offense many envisioned all season showed up against NFL's best defense

INDIANAPOLIS -- It took nine weeks, constant questioning about the franchise quarterback’s poor play and even a change of coordinators before the Indianapolis Colts finally looked like the offensive unit that many expected at the start of the season back in September.

What you saw on the field late Sunday afternoon by the Colts against the Denver Broncos was not the way Indianapolis should play the rest of the season, but rather the way it needs to play the rest of the way.

Challenged by new offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski’s desire to play with “swagger,” the Colts punched the Broncos early instead of getting knocked around for the first three quarters before trying to come back.
