The Colts have signed free agent LB Tyrell Adams.

Adams (6-2, 230, 25) will be entering his fourth year after spending time with the Seattle Seahawks (2015, twice), Kansas City Chiefs (2015 and 2016, twice), Oakland Raiders (2016-’17) and Buffalo Bills (2017). He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seahawks following the 2015 NFL Draft.

Adams has been a heavy special teams contributor and practice squad player, although he did see 99 defensive snaps in 2017. In 12 career games, he has 18 tackles. According to Raiders.com, Adams was in the competition for the Raiders’ starting middle linebacker spot during the 2017 offseason program, but he was ultimately unable to stick with the team.
