INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Colts have released backup quarterback Philip Walker, a source told IndyStar.
After Walker's release, and the surprise retirement of Andrew Luck last week, the Colts now have only starter Jacoby Brissett available to play in next weekend's season-opener at the Los Angeles Chargers.
The other quarterback currently on the Colts roster, Chad Kelly, is suspended for the first two weeks of the regular season.
