The Indianapolis Colts apparently have hung up a 2014 AFC Finalist banner some time between now and the end of last season, as noticed by media at Wednesday’s open mini-camp practice. While that seems perfectly acceptable in its own right, it somehow drew the ire of members of the national media:
Rovell may have a point except the Colts have been doing this for years, as astutely pointed out by Chris Price of WEEI in Boston and later the always reputable Tom James of the Terre Haute Tribune-Star:
Colts have been doing that “finalist” banner thing for a long time now, for what it’s worth.
