Running back Jonathan Taylor has longest carry in Colts history

It's not that the Indianapolis Colts were running poorly. It's that they hadn't bothered to run much at all.

Then Jonathan Taylor broke out with the longest run in franchise history.

The second-year running back started a third-quarter drive with an 83-yard run that put the Colts inside the Houston Texans 10-yard line. Taylor finished the drive with a 4-yard touchdown run.

Even after that drive, the Colts had 15 carries for 109 yards against Houston. Taylor rushed for 88 yards on 4 carries in that drive.

Taylor, who had 1,169 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns as a rookie in 2020, had 327 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns through 5 games this year.
