The Colts made two roster moves today, one which we had anticipated, and one complete surprise. Kicker Adam Vinatieri was moved to injured reserve which was in line with what had been talked about earlier in the day. What we did not expect was to see rookie wide receiver Parris Campbell sent to IR as well.
The rookie wide receiver was able to play in just 7 games this season and totaled 18 receptions 127 yards and a touchdown. That is hardly the dynamic impact the Colts hoped for when they drafted him. Campbell’s rookie season was marked by injury.
