Indianapolis – The Indianapolis Colts today signed free agent wide receiver Kasen Williams and waived wide receiver DeAndre Smelter.
Williams, 6-1, 219 pounds, has played in 10 career games (two starts) and has totaled 10 receptions for 92 yards and one carry for five yards in his time with the Cleveland Browns (2017) and Seattle Seahawks (2015-16). He has also appeared in two postseason contests. Williams originally signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent on June 15, 2015 out of Washington.
In 2017, Williams spent time on the Browns’ active roster and practice squad.
