The Colts made a roster move today, placing wide receiver Steve Ishmael on injured reserve and re-signing running back Aca’Cedric Ware who was released by the team last week.
Steve Ishmael, 6’2” 212lbs, was signed by the Colts last year as an undrafted free agent and was notable for having broken Marvin Harrison’s career record for receiving yards while at Syracuse. Ishmael spent 2018 on the Colts practice squad and was elevated to the active roster briefly before being waived and re-signed to the practice squad.
Ishmael’s untimely knee injury certainly is a disappointing way to end his season, especially in what was an already tough receiver room.
