Robinson: Frank Gore Still A Top-10 NFL Running Back

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts signed veteran running back Frank Gore prior to the 2015 season to match his highly-productive running ability with the playmaking ability of quarterback Andrew Luck.

In his previous 10 seasons, all with the San Francisco 49ers, Gore racked up 2,442 rushes for 11,073 yards (4.5 yards per carry) with 64 rushing touchdowns. Gore also proved to be a threat catching the ball out of the backfield, with 342 receptions for 2,883 yards and 11 receiving touchdowns with the 49ers.

Unfortunately for Gore and the rest of the Indianapolis offense, his first year for the Colts didn’t quite exactly go as planned, however.
