REPORT: Matt Nagy High on Colts List for a Chuck Pagano Replacement

Matt Nagy, a former collegiate quarterback at the University of Delaware, is the current offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs. Nagy has been a member of the Chiefs’ coaching staff since 2013 and was previously a part of head coach Andy Reid’s staff with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Pelissero cites the relationship that Nagy and current Colts’ GM Chris Ballard cultivated as a reason for the potential interest in Nagy. Ballard was the director of player personnel for the Chiefs from 2013-2014 and Kansas City’s director of football operations from 2015-2016.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid does the play calling in Kansas City, however, as Pelisero notes in his report, current Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson never called plays while on Reid’s staff either.
