The Colts are signing quarterback Brett Hundley to their active roster, according to Field Yates.
Hundley, who’s spent time on the Colts’ practice squad throughout the first four weeks of the season, will be the backup to quarterback Carson Wentz for Monday nights game against the Baltimore Ravens.
The general feeling around the team is that Hundley will likely be the backup quarterback moving forward, too. Additionally, Hundley also took the majority of team reps when Wentz was unable to practice a few weeks ago, so signing him to the active roster makes some sense given his familiarity with the offense and reps with the starters.
