INDIANAPOLIS — A Colts team that has battled injuries all season finds itself facing more uncertainty heading into this week’s road trip to Miami to take on the Dolphins.
All-Pro left guard Quenton Nelson sprained his right ankle in the first half of Sunday’s loss to the Titans, and the Colts are waiting to see how the joint responds over the next few days.
Indianapolis has been through this process recently. The Colts spent last week monitoring Carson Wentz’s ankle, resting him at first and then rehabilitating it enough that he could start against Tennessee, albeit with limited mobility.
