INDIANAPOLIS - The Colts signed quarterbacks Josh Freeman, a former first-round pick, and Ryan Lindley on Tuesday afternoon.
The moves likely mean Andrew Luck (kidney) and Matt Hasselbeck (shoulder) are done for the season, which isn't surprising because Luck hasn't been medically cleared yet, and coach Chuck Pagano has already called Hasselbeck doubtful for Sunday's game against Tennessee.
It also means the Colts are desperate for help at quarterback because Stephen Morris, who they signed off Philadelphia's practice squad last season, was the only healthy player at that position on the roster after they placed Charlie Whitehurst on injured reserve Monday.
