Per Tom Pelissero: Devin Funches has broken collarbone

Tom Pelissero is a reporter for NFL Network and is a contributor for NFL.com. According to his recent tweet, 2019 free agent acquisition Devin Funchess suffered a broken collarbone in the Colts week 1 loss.

Funchess signed a 1 year $10 million contract in March of this year. From that point on he has been penciled in as the team’s number two wide receiver. His first game with his new team started well, he made a tough sideline catch, picking up a big first down in the process. On the day, Funchess had three catches for 32 yards, and based on one watch of the game, had a better debut with the team than other WR2 acquisitions like; Ryan Grant, Kamar Aiken, Phillip Dorsett and Andre Johnson.
