NFL Network's Ian Rapoport tried — and, let's be honest, failed — to explain why he slammed Indianapolis as the host of the NFL Combine on the NFL Inside Report podcast Thursday.
Last week, Rapoport went on the Pat McAfee Show and discussed the likelihood that the Combine will begin to rotate sites, with Dallas and Los Angeles also bidding for it. He said of Indianapolis:
“It’s very cold in February. Don't judge me on this, because I know how you guys get. All I think about with Indy is walking from one bar to another bar in the freezing cold with my overcoat and my gloves trying not to freeze to death to go talk to an agent or a coach.
