Just when it appeared as if the Indianapolis Colts had put itself into position of missing the AFC postseason playoffs, quarterback Andrew Luck pulled off another late game comeback Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Colts trailed all afternoon and waited until 55 seconds remaining in the game to take a 28-27 lead against the New York Giants. Safety Malik Hooker’s interception of an Eli Manning throw down the middle with 0:31 left on the clock closed out the win for Indianapolis.
With AFC South leader Houston losing to Philadelphia Sunday and their next opponent, Tennessee, knocking off Washington Saturday night, the Colts remain in the playoff mix as either the division champion or as a wild-card team heading into the final week of the regular season.
