Jim Irsay doesn't close door on Andrew Luck return to football

INDIANAPOLIS – Colts owner Jim Irsay says he has not asked Andrew Luck if he’s ever going to return to the game of football.

Luck has had dinner with both general manager Chris Ballard and head coach Frank Reich, and Irsay calls Luck his friend.

Irsay is clearly still leaving the door open that Luck might return, although Luck’s father, Oliver, has said recently that he believes his son is enjoying life as a father.

“I don’t think you ever quite come to terms with that,” Irsay said.
