Jacoby Brissett Enters Concussion Protocol Following Loss to Steelers

Following the Indianapolis Colts disappointing 20-17 loss at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers, quarterback Jacoby Brisssett was entered into the league’s concussion protocol due to symptoms that he appeared to be demonstrating for several minutes.

Brissett was hit in the helmet as he went to the ground on a third-quarter scramble which left him grasping at his head. Brissett hopped up, ran over to the sideline and was then given the concussion evaluation.

Brissett was evaluated by the Colts’ team doctor, then by an independent neurologist passing both, and re-entering the game before Scott Tolzien could take a single snap.
