In the 2025 offseason, the Indianapolis Colts had a lot of questions to ask themselves. Was quarterback Anthony Richardson truly the answer as QB1, for instance? How might the secondary be made better? The team took some gambles, and they paid off wonderfully in Week 1.
But one week does not a season make. Daniel Jones was fantastic against the terrible Miami Dolphins, but that could swiftly change against a good Denver Broncos defense in Week 2. Or Jones could excel again and put pressure on general manager Chris Ballard to start thinking about an extension with the quarterback.
