Insider: Where Colts, Jacoby Brissett went wrong vs. Texans

INDIANAPOLIS -- Everyone has to be better. No part of the offense, save perhaps the running game in the second half, deserved praise following the Colts’ ugly 20-17 loss in Houston.

The Indianapolis Colts offensive line too often buckled under pressure; the pass-catchers failed to consistently find space in the Texans’ zone defense and make crucial catches (T.Y. Hilton), and the quarterback repeatedly refused to throw to anyone but receivers five to six yards away from him.

Even coach Frank Reich has to be better. He’s not denying it.

“Always after a loss, I can tell you this from years of experience, when we lose I’m always going to always tell you that I could have called a better game,” the coach confessed on Friday.
