HOUSTON -- Jacoby Brissett is a starting-caliber quarterback in the NFL. He didn’t play like one Thursday night.

Instead, Brissett looked like the backup so many Indianapolis Colts fans feared was taking the helm of the franchise when Andrew Luck called it quits three months ago.

Brissett played timid -- feet pitter-pattering in the pocket for too long as he was too hesitant to make a play and too scared to make a mistake.
