INDIANAPOLIS – The Colts’ training facility is a relative disaster right now. There is so much construction underway that you’re lucky if you can find a place to park in the gravel lot where there used to be a walking trail. Players practically need to don a hard hat to get to the locker room, with a massive renovation of the football section of the building going on.
What’s happening outside is something of a metaphor for what’s happening inside as General Manager Chris Ballard is knocking down figurative walls the way they do on those home-improvement shows.
