Indianapolis Colts sign former Bears, Eagles tight end Trey Burton

The Indianapolis Colts are apparently still making moves just hours before the 2020 NFL Draft. Today, they have reportedly signed tight end Trey Burton to a deal. The news first broke from his management, EnterSports.

Burton has been in the NFL for six seasons, four with the Philadelphia Eagles and two with the Chicago Bears. He is most remembered for throwing the touchdown pass on the “Philly Special” play run by the Eagles in Super Bowl 52. That offseason, Burton signed a four year, $32 million deal with the Bears in hopes to gain a feature role.
