The Colts signed a couple of solid pass rushers last season in John Simon and Jabaal Sheard, and they got some decent production out of them in 2017.
General manager Chris Ballard has been looking to add some depth on the edge of their defensive line again this offseaso, and he may have found a bargain in Chris McCain.
McCain is tall and slender at 6′ 5″ 224 pounds, so he won’t be able to contribute much against the run on early downs.
However, he’s become a pass rush specialist over his four year career, and he’s coming off of a career-high 5 sack season with the Chargers in 2017.
