INDIANAPOLIS — Football flows through Josh McDaniels’ blood.
The son of a legendary Ohio high school football coach, Thom McDaniels, Josh latched onto the game early on, getting up before sunrise at the age of 4 to hit the field with his father.
Since that time, McDaniels has seemingly grown with the game — first as a player at the high school and college level, and then rising through the ranks as a coach, initially getting his feet wet in the college ranks for a year before jumping into the NFL.
