George Kittle admits what Colts fans always believed about DeForest Buckner

The Indianapolis Colts are currently playing from behind. The team needs unexpected victories to make the playoffs, but injuries might make that difficult. That includes star defensive lineman DeForest Buckner.

Buckner has been on injured reserve since Week 9 after suffering a herniated disc in his neck. To be sure, the defensive lineman playing again might be a risk. Neck injuries could be life-altering. While football fans might want Buckner on the field, the choice should be his.

He has been cleared for practice after initially being placed on injured reserve. He practiced ahead of Week 15's loss to the Seattle Seahawks, and he is practicing again ahead of Week 16 against the San Francisco 49ers.
