Tom Brady makes first NFL start for Patriots against Colts
Brady, a sixth-round pick out of Michigan in the 2000 NFL draft, got his first start in the NFL on Sept. 30, 2001, after an injury knocked out starter Drew Bledsoe. It came against the Colts in Foxborough, and though it was a 44-13 win for the Patriots, it was far from remarkable for Brady.
