Frank Reich trusts Carson Wentz's instincts, even if he didn't like Wentz throwing lefty

INDIANAPOLIS — Carson Wentz will try just about anything to make a play.

The Colts quarterback will toss it left-handed, as he did on a 2-yard completion to Jonathan Taylor against Jacksonville on Sunday. He’ll shovel it on the move if he can’t get the throw away, the way he did on an incompletion to Nyheim Hines.

Indianapolis head coach Frank Reich doesn’t always like it when Wentz gets creative, and in those moments, he sometimes has to tell himself Wentz is going to make plays he couldn’t have drawn up in a playbook or made on the move during his playing days.
