Former Colts Standout Safety Antoine Bethea to Announce the Horseshoe’s ‘Day 2’ NFL Draft Pick

According to NFL Communications, former Indianapolis Colts’ Super Bowl Champion and 2x Pro Bowl safety Antoine Bethea will announce the team’s ‘Day 2’ draft selection—which is currently the 54th overall pick.

The recently retired 36 year old longtime NFL safety was a 2006 6th round pick of the Colts out of Howard (playing for the franchise from 2006-2013) and went on to become one of the league’s top safeties as a 3x Pro Bowler collectively—having also played for the San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, and New York Giants respectively.

Bethea was a linchpin to the backend of the Colts’ stalwart Super Bowl winning defense in 2006—along with his fellow standout safety and partner-in-crime, Bob Sanders.
