According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, former Indianapolis Colts starting nose tackle Josh Chapman worked out for the Houston Texans on Tuesday:
“The Texans tried out four nose tackles Tuesday, including Josh Chapman, Lavon Hooks, Ishmaa’ily Kitchen and Jerrell Powe,” writes Wilson.
Of course, it would be familiar territory for Chapman, who played the last two seasons in the AFC South with the Colts. Last season, Chapman started 15 games for the Colts, recording 21 tackles.
Originally a 5th round pick of the Colts in 2012, Chapman was expected to be the team’s run-stuffer in the middle at starting nose tackle for the foreseeable future.
