INDIANAPOLIS — The Pro Football Hall of Fame on Tuesday announced its list of 27 Modern-Era Class of 2018 semifinalists, a group that includes Indianapolis Colts great running back Edgerrin James.
James, who is a semifinalist for a fourth straight year, now hopes to advance as a Hall of Fame finalist for a second time in three years. He was voted as one of 15 Modern-Era finalists for the Class of 2016, alongside his former teammate, wide receiver Marvin Harrison, and former head coach, Tony Dungy. Harrison and Dungy would end up being enshrined later that year.
